Crystal Springs Camp Site and Boat Ramp located on the South Side of Lake Ouachita open all year a day and overnight use camping area with swimming areas and playgrounds.
On the 1st of January 2012, the
Friends of Lake Ouachita will assume the
management of the Crystal Springs Recreation Area.

on hold until January 1st, 2012.

Crystal Springs campground was
placed on hold for making campsite reservations until 1 January 2012. On 1
January 2012, the Friends of Lake Ouachita will assume the management of the
Crystal Springs Recreation Area.

Crystal Springs has 74 sites, 52 have water and electric hookups.
Campsite description:
Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern post, shade.
Amenities:
Flush toilets, potable water, showers, boat ramp, trailer dump station, swim beach (2),
fish cleaning station, handicap accessible sites (# 22 and # 73).
Crystal Springs has the largest boat ramp on Lake Ouachita,
A fish cleaning station at the entrance allows you to clean your fish with
ease.
The locations of the camping sites are user friendly with plenty of space.
Water hookups are available to every RV site.
A day use facility with a swim beach, two pavilions and a playground are
right outside of the camping area.
The Charlton trailhead, a four mile hiking/biking trail, begins at the
entrance of Crystal Springs Campground.

Lake Ouachita has an abundance of bass, bream, crappie,
striped bass,
walleye, and catfish.
Known for their size and tackle busting runs
Striped Bass up to 50+ pounds roam the lake.
Catfish are plentiful ranging in sizes from 2 to 100+ pounds.

Guide services are available around the lake for almost every species.
