The Corps of Engineers are nearing completion of the New Area and Field Office's for Lake Ouachita high atop the hill on Lake Ouachita Southwest of the Dam and Intake structure. The opening and dedication date estimate is Spring 2012. The new office building will also be the Area Office for Lake Greeson and Lake DeGray. Access will be from the Spillway landing road south of the current offices.
